Gas Meter Valves:

Series 300 & 400 GasBreakers are easily installed on gas meters immediately after (downstream of) the outlet or bypass tee. Protect against residential and commercial gas line breaks on in-house piping. These valves can only be installed vertically.

• Series 300 — 3/4" pipe - up to 60' of equivalent length.
1" pipe - up to 190' of equivalent length.
• Series 400 — 1 1/4" pipe - up to 200' of equivalent length.
1 1/2" pipe - up to 500' of equivalent length.
• Series 600 — 1 1/4" pipe - up to 144' of equivalent length.
1 1/2" pipe - up to 312' of equivalent length.

* Distance calculated by using standard plumbing pressure drop calculation for elbows, tees, Pipe Size Chart, etc.

Gas Appliance Valves:

Easily installed horizontally or vertically, our new appliance product protect against gas related accidents caused by breaks in the connector line between the appliance and valve installation point. Breaks or disconnection can be caused by construction accidents, tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, or simple accidents such as a homeowner pulling his/her car into the garage and hitting the gas clothes dryer or water heater breaking the gas supply line. Work on all home gas appliances (furnaces, water heaters, ovens/stoves and clothes dryers.) Each gas appliance requires its own GasBreaker Safety Valve. Equally effective when used in restaurants, laundries and other commercial environments. This style only available in a series 120-90 scfh max.

THE RIGHT FIT: Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) and GasBreaker Safety Valves

Gasbreakers work in conjunction with CSST at the gas meter as well as at the appliance manifold. Gasbreakers should be connected directly to the manifold at the point between the manifold and the appliance gas lines, which will offer increased safety for the building occupants.

PRODUCT CHART

Make sure you select the proper GasBreaker for your system needs. Refer to the chart and information below

Disclaimer:
NOTE: The new GasBreaker Series 120 appliance valve can be installed in a vertical or horizontal position on appliance gas line flex connectors or on CSST manifolds. However, GasBreaker?? Series 90 & 150 appliance valves (which look similar to the gas meter valves) and Series 300 & 400 meter valves must be installed in a vertical position (within 5 degrees). IMPORTANT: Carefully follow the installation instructions (included in the packaging) for each valve.

(1) Typical gas loads are included so that the system designer may utilize the lower flows and pressure drops generally incorporated in gas systems.

* Equivalent length calculated by using standard plumbing pressure drop calculation for elbows, tees, Pipe Size Chart, ect.

** Appliance Safety Valve model #150-075 is recommended for larger gas appliances and 2-stage furnaces.

Flow rates given are 0.6 Specific Gravity Natural Gas with an average heating value of 1000 BTU/cubic feet. To convert BTU rating to scfh, divide by 1000. (Example: 70,000 BTU/hr divided by 1000 BTU/ft3 = 70scfh.)

All model #s available in non-bypass versions: Maximum leakage rate 0.40 scfh per CSA 3-92 and MSS-SP115.

Each gas appliance must have a GasBreaker Safety Valve.

Valve installation instructions must be followed to ensure proper installation and valve performance.

To order larger capacity applications or meter valves, call or email GasBreaker: 1-800-800-3039 or info@GasBreaker.com

Abbreviations: BTU = British Thermal Unit: w.c. = water column: scfh = standard cubic feet per hour
